Douglas McVey, Senior Automation Design Engineer - Doug holds a master's degree in engineering physics from Cornell University, where he graduated summa cum laude, and a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Amherst College. Doug is a Certified LabVIEW Architect, Certified TestStand Developer, and a National Instruments Certified Professional Instructor. He is also a recognized expert LabVIEW developer with 10 years of industry experience. Doug has lectured on LabVIEW programming topics at National Instruments events, provided custom LabVIEW training to many kDy clients, and works closely with National Instruments to improve products and prepare product demonstrations.
Allan Salant, Business Development Manager - Allan holds a master's degree in management from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University. With more than 12 years of industry experience as an electrical engineer and a project manager, Allan is an expert in quality management systems. Prior to co-founding kDy, he was a Senior Product Engineering Manager at Cree, a world leader in LED-based lighting technology.
R. Barrett Lawson, Automation Design Engineer - After attending the University of Pennsylvania, Barrett completed his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering at North Carolina State University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Barrett is a Certified LabVIEW Developer. A skilled draftsman with six years of experience in electromechanical drafting, he has passed the North Carolina Fundamentals of Engineering Exam.
